The legendary street artist (and passionate disc golfer) AKAY has been active since the eighties, with a long list of well-known projects behind him.
One of the most famous is Traffic Island by the Barsky Brothers, where AKAY and his collaborator set up a small idyllic cottage on a cliff right in-between the roadways of the heavily trafficked motorway to Stockholm. The cottage had a lawn, paving, a clothesline, a mailbox and even a decorated tree in time for Christmas.
