CCM has released the 4th Extreme Flex pad, with the new E4.5 as their recreational pad. The new pad brings incredible improvements, increasing the competition in the performance pad market. With velcro strapping, speedskin, their new flexible toe string system, the E4.5 is looking to draw in younger goalies with an impressive pad.

External Material
The E4.5 is wrapped in speedskin, enabling a smoother transition on the ice to increase speed and energy transfer. Speekskin was introduced in 2017 with the E-flex 3 pro pads and has became a mainstay on CCM pads now as their skin of choice.

Internal Construction
The core on the E4.5 consists of CCM’s Dualitecore Technology enabling better torsional flex, while remaining incredibly light. The improved torsional flex protomes the entire pad to seal the ice when sliding or making a save.
